The Hassan Club, located in Hassan city, Karnataka, is the oldest club in the city. Founded in 1937 by Amin-ul-Mulk Sir Mirza Ismail, Dewan of Mysore State. The Hassan Club has affiliations with numerous clubs at home and abroad. The modern tennis, squash and badminton courts, the health club and the library, form a mosaic, interspersed with green lawns, trees, shrubbery and flowers in a 2 acres of campus.
The club has many facilities like parking, waiting lounge, library corridor, garden with main receiption. The club has many rules and regulations which could be more of an effect of a colonial hangover, but lately there has been a concentrated effort to rectify the same.
